Brookings

Brookings is located along the Wild Rivers Coast and boasts some of the warmest temperatures on the coastline.

The southern entry to the Oregon Coast is a base camp for recreation on the Chetco, Rogue, Elks and Sixes Rivers. From Port Orford to Brookings, the highway hugs some of the most dramatic and rugged coastline in Oregon, lined with sea stacks and rock formations. The Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor stretches for 12 miles with several viewpoints worth exploring. Don’t miss low tide at beautiful Harris Beach State Park, where large rocky areas become perfect for tide pooling.
