Our party of four each ordered different entrees; they were each delicious. The clam strips were a delicious appetizer, the bread bowl of cream chowder w/shrimp, the blackened rockfish salad, & the crab cakes were delish! In fact they were the best crab cakes we’ve ever had!!
We both had the grilled rockfish sandwich. Very good. I’d prefer a little more spice but it was good enough. The popcorn shrimp was great plus was plentiful.
The staff was excellent and the food was awesome. We had drinks and dinner and it came quickly and was very good. My friends loved the crab tacos and I had the fish and chips and the clam chowder. We loved it all included the desserts. Definitely plan to go there again.
When I looked at the menu online it all looked fried and I prefer grilled. We stopped in to looked at the menu and they did have grilled. I had steak and grilled shrimp with an ounce of crab meat added. It came with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. The meal was very good and the steak was cooked perfect for my liking. My husband had the crab cakes and said they were very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not fancy and not expensive for the quality of food you get. We were pleasantly surprised since our whole trip through the Oregon coast seemed that the food was very expensive and not good. Don’t miss this when in Brookings OR.
Restaurant that is part of a fishing enterprise--they have a sign outside that says: "we catch it, we cook it, you eat it." Unpretentious spot next to the commercial harbor. The seafood was in the water hours before you eat it. We had the crab pizza--yummy. Crab rolls were tasty with a tangy sauce. The chowder was a total disappointment, however--was way too pasty.
