Stoltz Winery produces single barrel batches of Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Aglianico, Sagrantino, Primitivo, Honey Wine as well as exclusive unique blends. The wine is gently handled with minimal additions and features a glass stopper format.
The winery and tasting room, atop downtown Hood River, features panoramic views of the Columbia Gorge. The oldest house in town, called “The Mansion on the Hill” (1886) houses this limited production winery. Before becoming a winery the house served as the area mortuary and town morgue for over 45 years. This unique place provides a grand stage for the production and presentation of Stoltz wines.
