We shared a flight and enjoyed the lighter reds. The views were wonderful from the patio and it was a clear sunny day! We went in and discussed our tastes. The staff had us taste a bolder red and we enjoyed the taste so much we purchased a bottle to have for our last night of vacation!
We called ahead on our way to Hood River, and were welcomed even tho it would be just an hour before they closed. Our server was so nice, and accommodating! The selections to taste were diverse AND delicious! The views were the bomb! We loved the Barbera and Reisling, and ADORED the Sauvignon Blanc, the first release of this varietal by this winery! Visit them, you won't be sorry!!!
We so enjoyed our time visiting the Mt. Hood Winery during our trip to Oregon. It located just outside of Hood River, with beautiful views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding valley. Sitting outside on their patio it is so serene to enjoy your wine and take in the beautiful surroundings. The wine we tried was excellent. Definitely recommend making a stop here.
We had a quick stop at Mt Hood Winery while on our rail bike tour. Enough time for wine tasting and to enjoy the beautiful views from the outdoor patio of the winery. The wine was good and the ambience was great. Wish we had more time to enjoy. If you're in the area I recommend a stop at this winery.
My husband visited this vineyard with a private tour. Very nice tasting room with beautiful view of Mt. Hood. We arrived towards the end of the day and felt a little rushed because the staff keep running around and yelling last call. Would have liked to have had more information about the wine than a slip of paper—a quick overview from the servers would have been nice.
