Your country winery experience is located just twenty-five minutes northwest of downtown Portland and ten minutes north of Hillsboro. The vineyards sit in the Tualatin Mountain foothills at elevations between 450 and 650 feet, among the northernmost in the Willamette Valley. The predominant soil types are Cascade and Helvetia. Cascade soils are sedimentary, deposited in the valley by the Missoula Floods around 15,000 years ago, while Helvetia soils are weathered volcanic soils from Cascade eruptions approximately 15 million years ago.

A lovely afternoon
Super cute winery with an absolutely lovely staff (extra shoutout to Jo!). They were so kind and just wanted is to sit and enjoy a lovely day. We wound up having to hurry out because we lost track of time and they continued to be so courteous and gave us our money's worth with the tastings! Will be back with plenty of time to enjoy this place again.

Family atmosphere and great wine.
One of our favorite places for many reasons - relaxing atmosphere, dog friendly, nice people - we had a family wedding there this summer and it was perfect. Not fancy, but as one person put it, more like sitting with friends on the front porch. Oh - and also good wine!

Great wines in a relaxed setting
Our tasting experience was unlike any other tasting, in a good way! So many wineries have an almost corporate feel to them. This felt like going to a friend’s house, sitting on the back porch, and enjoying several different wines they want to share with you…complete with the friendly chocolate lab, Buddy. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the wines we tasted. We bought one bottle and would have bought more had we not been getting on a plane the next day. If you’re looking for a very informal, relaxed and delicious wine tasting experience, this is the place!

Over Deliver
If you think that this is gonna be your average run-of-the-mill wine tasting, you're gonna be so surprised. John, the vintner will over-deliver. This is a History/Agricultural/Chemistry/Life Lesson/Sensory experience. Other wine tastings will never compare to this 2.5-hour crash course of a tour. Enjoy!

DONT BOTHER ....horrible.....customer service is VERY LACKING
Is it not almost 2022? Imagine my shock when I called (today for a future reservation) with a groupon deal only to be told "call me back in 5 min, I have another call on the line" Excuse me, I am trying to help your business and figure out if I should be a member. I give the guy the benefit of a doubt and I call him in 7 min and no matter what i said was 'no"...SO i cancelled my groupon deal...AND mind you, I belong to several wine club as a member in CA (napa and sonoma), several in OR and several in WA (walla walla and woodinville). Too bad, you just lost a very potential customer..... TRY PLUM HILL VINEYARDS or SAFFRON FIELDS as they have exceptional service! !!!
