Horrible Experience!
The only thing this winery has left to offer is it's view and fairly good wine which is why I gave it 2 stars. I would give it zero stars if I could for the management. I started visiting Hawks View when it was family owned and appointment only wine tasting. I joined their wine club only to find out that they were bought out by Ponte Family Estate in 2017. I started to see changes, and not good ones. My last experience at Hawks View was horrible. I went to pick up my wine shipment and asked the receptionist if I could use my benefit of a free tasting since I was there. She asked if I had a reservation and I said no. She asked if it was only me for the tasting and I said yes. She said "I'll have to seat you at the bar". I said I was uncomfortable with that and asked for a table since I would also be ordering lunch. And that I am a long time wine club member and have never had a problem getting a table without a reservation before. Granted this is the first time I was there alone. She said she needed to talk to her manager. She quickly came back and said "all we have is the bar". She seated me and it was VERY awkward being the only person in 3 different tasting areas that had to sit at one of the two bars. So I looked on their website and was able to make a reservation easily for 10 minutes later. Then I asked to speak with the manager, Justin Sanchez. He was rude and not accommodating at all. I told him that I was able to easily make a reservation online and he was surprised and said he would go check. I was told that even though I could make a reservation online, that they overbook in case of no shows and that it didn't mean they actually had available tables. Seriously?!!! He came back and said that I made a reservation for the bar. I said that is impossible because you can't make a reservation for the bar online. It doesn't give you that choice. He said "well that's all we have". I told him it's already uncomfortable dining alone and that now he has put me on display being the only person at the bar when I could visibly see available tables. I felt he was discriminating against me for arriving alone. He gave me the choice of moving to the Members Only Rooftop, but it is open air and it was windy and freezing up there that day. I declined. I really don't even know why I ordered food at that point, but I was hungry and wine tasting. Their food has steadily gone downhill over the years also. The Fig, Brie & Prosciutto sandwich was all bread. There was a fig spread, no brie and hard old prosciutto. It was served with potato chips for $18. There are so many other amazing wineries in area that treat people with respect and are genuinely happy that you are there. I am cancelling my membership at Hawks View.

Afternoon with friends wine 🍷
It's an excellent vineyard to relax and have a good glass of wine 🍇 The service was great and knowledgeable, even though I don't know much about wines other than that they make you feel good! The rooftop seating makes for phenomenal views and a great atmosphere.

Must be 21
Not family friendly, even for young adults and older teens. Please start asking if everyone is over 21 prior to accepting reservations (where people may drive long distances). Alternatively, make this crystal clear on website in description of tasting options.

Great afternoon sipping wine
I spent a lovely afternoon tasting wines at Hawks View Winery. For $30 (fee waved if you join their wine club!) you taste at least 5 wines from a sparkling rose, a couple whites, and some Pinot Noir, of course! I did not try any food as I was there between lunch and dinner but the options looked great and paired well with the wines. The view was amazing! If you're in the area and have 90 minutes to spend tasting wine, I highly recommend Hawks View Winery. I only wish I could have joined the wine club but I live in a no ship to state. Big bummer :(

Beautiful setting and professional
Fabulous experience even though they appeared to be short staffed. Aleah explained the wines/vines/grapes plus bonus tastes and the tasting room, deck, setting is A+. Enjoyed the tasting menu and charcuterie board (A++). Even joined the wine club—can’t wait for my 1st shipment. Pinot Gris and Blanc were wonderful.
