Government Camp

Located at the 4,000-foot level of the majestic Mt. Hood’s southernmost slopes, Government Camp has stayed true to its roots while serving as a recreation destination for visitors since being settled in the early 1900s.

New developments have revitalized the quaint mountain community into much more than your average ski town. A Bavarian-style, pedestrian-friendly downtown offers ski shops, a brewery and comfortable accommodations which attract visitors year-round.
