Thriving under second generation family ownership and operation for more than two decades, Ponzi Vineyards is internationally acclaimed for producing world class cool-climate varietals. Set atop a northwest facing Chehalem Mountains slope, the modern tasting room is surrounded by the majestic Avellanna Vineyard and features fireside seating, a covered terrace and bocce ball courts. Experience Ponzi wines with a tableside tasting and enjoy panoramic views of the vineyard and valley. Small food pairings are offered to accompany the wines.

Private tours of the state-of-the-art winery are available by appointment, groups of eight or more require a reservation. Located just 30 minutes south of Portland, Ponzi Historic Estate is the site of the 1970 Ponzi pioneer vineyard. The winery is now home to Hamacher Wines. For over twenty years Eric Hamacher has been making many of the most sought after, hard to find wines in Oregon. Towering firs and the beautiful old vineyard welcome visitors to the shared tasting room where both Hamacher and Ponzi wines can be tasted and purchased. The grounds include a quiet courtyard, bocce courts or walk through the twisted, treasured and still deliciously productive vines.
