The Bolan Lake Trail offers fishing and camping at the Bolan Lake
Campground. There is a boat ramp at Bolan Lake as well, but no motors are allowed. Bolan Mountain has an operating lookout during the fire season.

Directions: From Cave Junction: Travel south on Highway 199 to County Road 5560. Follow 5560 south until it becomes the State of Jefferson Scenic Byway. Follow this byway southeast to Happy Camp Road #48. Follow 48 east to Forest Service Road #4812. Follow 4812 east to Forest Service Road #040. Take 040 north to Bolan Lake where the trail begins.
