Located on the East Lake in Newberry National Volcanic Monument the Cinder Hill Campground offers 110 campsites with vault and flush toilets, drinking water, and a boat launch. Bears are a common occurrence at all campgrounds in Newberry Caldera. Please be bear safe. Special activities around the site include: fishing, hiking, swimming, bird watching, bicycling, sightseeing, canoeing, access to Newberry Crater Trail and connecting trails.
Directions: From Bend: Travel 23.5 miles south on Hwy. 97, then 17.6 miles east on Rd. 21, and 0.5 miles north on F.S. Rd. 2100 700.
