Come learn something new about the trees that are essential to Oregon’s high desert ecosystem. Casey Clapp, arborist, dendrologist and educator, will be featured at the Oregon Natural Desert Association’s third event of the High Desert Speaker Series. Casey will highlight the diverse tree species found in eastern Oregon and will help attendees build their desert tree identification skills. He will also explore how these species interact with the broader desert ecosystem and emphasize the importance of understanding the trees as a way to build a deeper relationship with the environment.
