Wylde Wind & Water's Community Paddle is a free community event open to the public for people of all ages and skill levels. At each paddle there will be an introduction to stand up paddling and water safety, so everybody learns the skills they need to not only be safe on the water but also have fun. The goal is to mesh family fun on the water with conversations about water safety.
After the safety introduction, hit the water and go Stand Up Paddling. Every paddle event will be catered towards the participants and their skill level, but each event will provide people an opportunity to paddle with a group, growing the local community. No prior paddling experience necessary.
Community Paddles will run weekly from July 4th through August 28th on Saturday mornings at the Wylde Wind & Water Center, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. No registration necessary, no fee.
