Located in the heart of Oregon’s Dundee Hills AVA, White Rose Estate is dedicated to growing and producing artisanal Pinot noir that exhibits classic variety character and above all, conveys a sense of beauty. Since 2001, annual production has increased from a couple hundred cases to approximately 4,000 cases per year of Pinot noir which comes not only from our 14-acres of estate vineyards, but also a number of other premier vineyards in the northern Willamette Valley. Their philosophy is a modern adaptation of traditional whole cluster winemaking practices and focuses on higher elevation vineyards in the coolest growing areas of the Willamette Valley. This approach has fostered a style of evocative wines that are expressive, complex and classically elegant. The ultimate goal is to produce wines that respect classic variety character; convey a sense of beauty; illuminate emerging details of the wine over the course of its lifespan; and potentially take you on an emotional journey.

Such a lovely experience
My wife and I had such a lovely few hours in the vaulted tasting rooms with Dago. We seemed to get lucky that we were the only people booked in. It was such a wonderful personal experience where Dago's genuine passion for the vineyard and the wines was so nice to see. He was so knowledgeable and taught us parts of the process that we never previously knew. The wines were beautiful. We just wished that they were easier to buy in the UK!

Beautiful setting, Great group experience
Beautiful setting, lovely wines, table set and ready for our group of 6. We had reservations and were excited to see a beautiful table set and ready for us. The wines were lovely, but did remove one star as I feel a touch over priced. The espresso at the end was a nice and appreciated touch. Be aware you cannot bring outside food. I did not find the staff pretentious, which was nice. I would visit again.

Expensive with low quantity
So overpriced for fair, not good wines. Three tastings of four wines, no bonus pours- $60, $90 & $150 tastings! Rediculous! Our $60 wines small pours, wines were too young, simple & not complex, many other nice wineries in the area to waste so much money on this one.

Great Wines and tasting room
Quite the winding road to get to the top, and then a spectacular view of the valley. White Rose is a cozy tasting room in a cool wooden attic area. You should get reservations, otherwise you might not get a seat. Dago was our host and started with a jigger of sparkling water to cleanse our taste buds. Very informational on the history of White Rose Estate. Lovely wines in nose and taste.
