Peaceful
Quaint & peaceful vineyard. Out in the countryside and popped in for a glass of wine to enjoy the scenery. Delicious and worth the drive.

A Vineyard and Tasting Room Worth the Stop
This Vineyard/ Winery/ Tasting Room is open daily, year round, just 4 miles west of Corvallis, as the crow flies. The tasting room is warm and welcoming for solo travelers or groups. Scott, the owner’s son, poured tastes, a glass and educated me on the bottles available by vintage year. Being a red wine enthusiast I can only speak to the two pinots open for tasting. The quality of these multiple award-winning wines captured my attention and interest. As a Harvest Host guest I left with two bottles of pinot, a 2015 and 2022 ( not just one as suggested for the overnight), and I know where to find their wines for retail in the city where I live. Thank you, Cardwell Cellars, for a wonderful experience in early December!! Beautiful grounds!

Beautiful property and terrific wines
What a beautiful property. We went to one of their concerts last evening and had a lovely time. We had their Rose, Pinot Gris, and 2017 Barrel-aged Pinot Noir. It's a quick 1 hr. drive from the Oregon coast where we live and I can't believe I haven't stopped here before. All of their wines were exceptional. They are dog friendly, too. Not to be missed.

Good Wine and Tasting Room with Vineyard
Cardwell Hill Cellars is in a beautiful location with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nancy one of the owners hosted our tasting experience. She was very helpful and informative about the different wines. Our favorite was Barrel Select Pino Noir, so we bought a bottle. They are a member of the “Heart of the Willamette Wineries” which sells a $30 pass that provide things like free tastings and discounts at many different wineries in the area.

All the way from Massachusetts: lovely setting and good tasting wine
I took my friend to several vineyards stopping first at Cardwell Hill. Beautiful setting, nice folks serving, and very reasonable prices for good tasting wine.
