Dean and Ann are simply excellent host. They really took us to an amazing journey not just of wine but history enjoying your wines. This is what wine tastings are all about - amazing experiences.
Made an appointment with Ann to visit Adea in Gaston and tasted wine with Dean - the winemaker. We love the smaller family wineries due to the great personal experience you receive. Dean is very down to earth, gives you lots of information, and answered all our questions. Very laid back, fun experience with fantastic wines. One of the best Rose`of Pinot we've had. We were one of the lucky ones to join the club. Thanks Dean!
Dean was knowledgeable and so nice. So good to visit a winery where you can tell the passion for wine making! Dean made you feel like family! We would go back over and over! A must visit!
Our driver told us that we would meet the winemaker, Dean, and we sure did, he was our host for the visit. Dean was in overalls and is the one who can and does it all! This stop will be about a personal experience if you choose to visit. Dean spent time telling us about his start and time in winemaking, his family, his future direction... he was so very kind and approachable, like a good ole farmer according to my husband. He provided generous pours and we were able to drink three additional wines straight from the barrel. He answered lots and lots of questions and you can tell is in this business for the love and passion of it. He's not concerned about the competition and will near retirement soon maybe. He takes in younger winemakers and provides them with his venue to help them get started. He was a great guy and we did like a lot of his wines. It was a really fun and laid back experience with lots to taste!
Deano was AMAZING!!! He had burgers waiting for us when we arrived. Such an awesome experience!!! We got to barrel taste and blend wines. It was so so good
