Top-notch pastries...
This is the place to go if you want to experience a little taste of Europe. The custard puff is delicious. Don't share....buy one for yourself and be selfish! Friendly employees will answer your questions if you don't know what is on display. There's more than pastries here, but you should definitely try the pastries!

South or the market location at 5th both consistent and go to when we are in town
Had wonderful Grab and go at the 5th location near our hotel, hard boiled egg, latte, a salad or slice..they have nice foods pre prepared or made to order kind of deli style.. always good. Plus you can browse the lovely store and flower shop, pick up charcuterie for later . At south.. it feels more like a restaurant and I had a nice soup , many other yummies at the table. We sat out and enjoyed. Feels like a larger dining menu than 5th with still wonderful take out . There is Mexican here too..another shop..also quite tasty.

Missing some key elements
We came for a lunch and I ordered a tube melt and a side salad Follow with a bullet gazpacho My wife ordered a cup of gazpacho She also ordered a larger plain salad. We ordered a glass of white wine to go with this Add $8 a piece. A tuna salad was really good and flavorful and the right texture of the bread. However Gazpacho was very Pequot high acid and difficult to eat . It certainly would have bettered by having a dollop of of sour cream to compete with the acid. The salad was void of salt and just had a smiled simple vinaigrette. My wife's Salad was not dressed at all.

Terrible coffee
Stopped here for lunch at 11:30. We were told that the lunch menu wasn't available until 12:00. What!??! Ok. We got cappucinnos and my son couldn't wait and got breakfast. The cappucinnos were truly terrible. The worst I've ever had. There was a two inch (at least) blob of over-frothed milk on the top. I was excited when we went in and saw their espresso machine and thought they would be really good. They need to train their baristas. Because it was BAD. My son's breakfast was average. My husband and I held out until the appointed lunch hour of 12:00. I had a burger and he had the beet burger. All were just average at best.
