Huge disappointment
We had eaten here last year and it was fabulous. This year was a huge disappointment. We should have sent our meals back. Fish and lobster were very overcooked, risotto was undercooked, sauce was thick. I later talked to the manager and said my meal was uneatable. They did not offer any compensation and just said they would talk to their chiefs. $180 for a meal we didn’t eat. Big disappointment from a hotel that had higher standards last year. We won’t go back.

Left after our cocktails.
Left after our cocktails. It was noisy and the chairs were old and very uncomfortable. Service was poor. Didn’t want to take a chance on dinner.

Great meal at a great place.
Excellent food in an excellent hotel. The waitstaff was super and took great care of us. This is grand old dining and we can't wait to go back again!!

Very romantic evening
This was a very romantic and wonderful restaurant in the middle of a grand old hotel lovingly appointed. Our meal was fabulous. I had the rib eye cooked to perfection paired with mashed Yukon gold potatoes and frsh brocoli perfectly steamed. The beef was tender, melt in your mouth with exceptional flavor. Finished with butter and herbs. My wife had the salmon and risotto which was absolutely perfect. The salmon was flaky, tender, and moist. Our waiter, Jason, was kind, responsive and appropriately attentive. For dessert we had the praline cheesecake and the key lime pie which were exactly as expected. This is a beautiful place for a memorable evening. Tables set with oil lamps, beautifully pristine linens and spotless glass and silverware. A definite must for a special evening and reasonably priced for a high quality meal.
