Staying at the headlands, we ate at this restaurant several times. Very small including bar seating but great views. They handled Labor Day weekend well including a power outage. Soup is wonderful and crab cakes were great. Halibut was good but wished there was just a tad more sauce. The purées were great. Lemon ricotta pancakes and chopped salad at brunch were great but the favorite was the berry crepes.. Cocktails were a definite highlight. Loved the Lemon posette. You definitely need a reservation if it’s during a busy summer weekend.

We went for a glass of wine, Prisoner Unshakled cab $22. We ended up having dinner. We ordered the chopped salad with salmon $38 and the 2 crab cakes with small salad $41. The salads had vinegarette on them. We weren't given a choice of dressing. The meal was pretty good. The guy singing & playing guitar was not great, couldn't understand him, mumbled. The view of the ocean waves was amazing!!

The $22 salad of stone fruit and heirloom tomatoes was awful. Both were hard as rocks.The pesto was tasty, but a stingey portion.

The food preparations were excellent and plentiful. We had fresh salmon with faro salad just filled with vegetables. Salmon cooked just the way we asked for it to be prepared. We also had the halibut special (caught that day!) with vegetable succotash. The waiter was happy to have us taste some different wines so that we could find one to our liking. We finished our meal with warm freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. Along with this fabulous meal we had an amazing view of the beach and ocean. Lovely meal, great service, beautiful view. Highly recommend. In the future, we hope they will expand their wine list to include a few more Oregon reds and whites.

Worth a trip!
Went for a quick drink. The view was GREAT and our waiter, Sean, was amazing! He was VERY friendly and full of wonderful information!
