WINDY, Clean, safe, and dog friendly.
Parking a little expensive, but if you are in town to kite, sup or windsurf this is an awesome spot to rig up and launch.

If you like cold and windy...
This place became unpleasant after about 15-20 minutes as it is very windy and can get quite cold because of this. Even on days that are over 90 degrees the wind can really chapped Your Hide. Unless you are going there to kite Sail or windsurf I wouldn't spend more than 10-15 minutes this place

Great Place to Play in Hood River
The Hood River Event site is great for dogs, a swim, water sports, yoga and a casual lunch in the shade. There is a large sandbank and a smaller sandy area to enter the water at the main site. A bit down the trail there is an area for kids to play, swim and eat. The rest of the waterline is a bit rocky. Overall, the event site offers adventure and a chance to explore health, happiness and a humble perspective. Enjoy!
