With the help of a vast network of advocates, nature enthusiasts, and partners, Portland Audubon inspires and connects people to nature through a variety of programs that are grounded in science and learning.
Portland Audubon’s 172-acre Wildlife Sanctuary hosts more than 4 miles of trails, a Nature Store, Interpretive Center, and the region’s largest and busiest Wildlife Care Center.
Just ten minutes from downtown Portland, the free and family friendly wildlife sanctuary sees 40,000 visitors each year. Whether it’s children at summer camps, weekend hikers, travelers from out of town, or birders with binoculars in hand.
