Museum of the Oregon Territory

The Museum of the Oregon Territory tells the story of life in Oregon Territory, from the native people who first inhabited the area to the present day communities. The permanent exhibits halls use artifacts and personal stories to bring the history of our region to life! Come learn about Native American culture and traditions, see unique artifacts from early Oregon homesteaders, and learn about medicine in a recreated 20th century pharmacy. The museum also features a rotating exhibit hall displaying exhibits year round.

Located near the scenic overlook for Willamette Falls, the museum offers a fantastic view of this natural wonder and a nuanced interpretation of the history and importance of the falls.

The museum has special events and activities year round as well! Please visit our website for a complete listing of events that the whole family can enjoy.
