Excellent stay for the CLAMBAKE festival
We had a six day and five-night stay at the Ko-Kwel Casino Hotel over the last weekend while we attended the annual CLAMBAKE Music Festival in North Bend/Coos Bay. The festival was just superb. Ditto was our stay and treatment by all at the hotel. Starting with the counter-staff at hotel check-in, through housekeeping, those working the casino, security, and wait staff - the hospitality and willingness to meet the needs of their guests was just first-rate. Special thanks to both Chaukae Donley (Restaurants Manager) and Jared Dawson and to the young woman in Amy's office that allowed me the use of her automatic pencil sharpener for the weekend. Booking our party and those of the remaining guests for the festival was a daunting task.

Stayed in the RV Park adjacent and used their free shuttle to and from. Nice property.

Ko-Kwel is Outstanding!
The Ko-Kwel hotel is outstanding! I had such a wonderful time here all week and enjoyed the people and staff so much! Kathy at the front desk who works the overnight shift is an angel. Georgia who also works the front desk was very kind, Steven works there in the evening and he went out of his way to make me and my family feel welcome. We were all in the lobby enjoying the beautiful fire and he came over with little toys for the kids to play with! This hotel thinks of everything and is very efficient. I'm incredibly impressed and will definitely return again in the future!

Thank you Ko-Kwel
All the staff have been excellent, and the rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. Sean (customer service desk) gave me a lanyard for my players card after I joked how many times I left it in machines, and was super kind about replacing it as many times as I needed. Crystal (concierge) has also been amazing- kind and helpful and making sure we were taken care of through our entire trip!

3 star property at 4 -5 star prices. Your options are limited and they know it.
My room had garbage left from house keeping( toilet paper rolls left on the floor. Room was average at best. Slots are so tight, $300 was lost with very little little pay out over 4 hours. Requested a late check out and was told that the latest would be noon and there would be a $50 surcharge for the extra hour. Food at the timbers was very underwhelming. The prime rim dip was $20 and it was frozen pre sliced meat ( remember steakums) on a hoagie roll. If you can stay somewhere else, I would recommend that as a better option. There is no value in staying here.
