Expensive and Breakfast is extra
Our stay was comfortable. Our one night stay cost $240, and that's after using 6,410 points. In that, were included 2 vouchers for $10 off per person for breakfast. What i liked: 1. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. 2. I paid for River view, and there was a river view. What I did not like: 1. The dirty underwear on the floor from the previous guests. I informed the front desk about it. 2. The fact that you need to pay for breakfast. At the nightly rate they charge, a basic breakfast for their guests should be included in the price. I mean, a toast, scrambled eggs and 2 slices of bacon, and coffee wouldn't break their bank. Instead, they give you $10 off from whatever you pay at their onsite restaurant. Nothing on there was $10. The cheapest options were $12 and coffee was an additional $3.5/person. The a-la-carte menu has options ranging from $12-$18 and coffee is extra. When a guest pays $300 for one night, a basic breakfast should be included.

Disappointing experience :(
The hotel was ok. Good location by the River. Good restaurant on the premises and a nice workout room, pool and sauna. Our room was disappointing. We were on the first floor that is really more like a half basement so no natural light. I was surprised as the rooms were pretty expensive. Also, no housekeeping. So while we had coffee in the room the first night we didn’t have anything replenish for the second night. Could have requested but didn’t notice until 6am the next morning. I wonder if I would have liked it better if we had a nice room.

Highway noise spoils the beautiful hotel outdoor spaces
Very attractive hotel and gorgeous setting. Restaurant had an appealing and diverse menu. Bar had comfortable seating options. Attentive service by staff. Room was spacious and clean. Overall impressive for a Best Western. However, the highway noise was INSANELY LOUD. We picked this hotel thinking we could enjoy sitting on our balcony overlooking the river having a dip in the lovely outdoor pool, and having a nice stroll along the harbor after dinner. Not a chance with the noise. Really sad to have to be forced inside. We won’t return.

Hood River is a Must See!
Beautiful views of the mighty Columbia River at this clean and cozy hotel. The Riverside Restaurant inside has farm to table fresh food and the $10 per guest discount and zero sales tax makes the experience even better. We had to backtrack from our Portland starting point because we wanted to see Multnomah Falls early, which is highly recommended.

Best Western Plus Hood River Inn - Just a Great Place to Stay.
Our favorite Best Western (BW) hotel due to its location close to Mt. Adams, Mt Hood, Columbia River activities, visiting other nearby town (The Dalles, White Salmon, Bingen, Maryhill). Its restaurant is very good with breakfast being special. Parking is free and plentiful. Staff is efficient, courteous, and very helpful. After touristing around the area in the day, it is relaxing to sit on the hotel's patios and relax with a beverage and enjoy the river view. Or one can walk around their many sidewalks and down by the dock for some light exercise. Just a great place to stay - we visit at least once every year.
