A great overall experience
Loved the location next to the Haystack and views of the Big dune. Loved being on right on the beach with easy access and great views of the surfers and Dory boats.. Food was excellent. My pup had a wonderful time!

We hadn’t been to Pacific City in ten years and loved making a return visit. The Headlands was such a special place to stay!

Would stay again off-season
Overall great stay during a busy extended summer weekend. Pros: spacious room, fantastic views, soft sheets, whale watching and sunsets from your balcony, friendly staff, AC, fireplace, comfortable robes, fun adventures, nice spa, sound proof windows. Restaurant on site is nice because limited options in town. Cons: Dory boat horns all day so you can’t leave your balcony open, you can hear people walking in hallways, doors slamming and things like luggage being dropped below you. You can’t hear tvs or talking next to you but we were awoken and different times by the room shaking. If you are motion sensitive, beware and we were on the top floor. Restaurant prices are a bit high with a limited menu, but food is high-quality.
