Great service and location!
Beautiful location! Service was as expected and very professional, friendly and casual. We sat at the bar twice during our visit in Pacific City and had afternoon cocktails. Nothing but good to say from us. Enjoyed a good talk with good drinks and a great view!

Exceptional!
WOW! The best meal I’ve had at the Oregon Coast. The Meridian is an exceptional restaurant and bar located in Pacific City Oregon right on the beautiful beach. It is located in the Headlands Hotel which is worth a look. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hostess, Melissa, is a native of the town and is very friendly. She spent time getting to know a little bit about us and was so welcoming. Our server, Brandon, was so friendly and also welcoming. He complimented our 50 years of marriage and offered a glass of bubbles to celebrate. Brandon was efficient attentive but not interuptive to our experience. Now for the food—the steamer clams were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the clam chowder and he loved it. We shared the Land and Sea entree that included a filet of beef and jumbo scallops. Again, so delicious my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. The filet was very large—totally enough to share. We had the flourless chocolate cake which was served with berries (3) and hazelnuts with chantilly cream. It was ok but a little dry. But we topped it all off with Port wine so all was well. We can’t wait for I get back to eat at the Meridian again.!

Gorgeous Views With Limited Menu
The menu was small but the food was well prepared and fresh. We had breakfast more than once because it was all homemade and delicious. Dinner was very good but the options were limited and the prices sky high. Gorgeous views!

Wonderful view and food. Lackluster wines.
This is a wonderful beach-side restaurant in a nice hotel. We did the tasting menu with pairings. The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the wine did not match the quality of the food. This left us wondering if the person doing the pairings is not a wine drinker. The restaurant does have some nice full-bottle selections, but all of their by-the-glass wines were undrinkable for wine snobs like us

Great food, atmosphere, staff
Have had two dinners here in a row so far and both were great. Fresh ingredients, subtle seasonings, great dining atmosphere, great staff .. Limited but nice, diverse wine selection Only food issue is that the bread has been chewy both nights. should be a simple thing to fix or perhaps it is a chef decision but not to our liking. Staff and chef are very friendly and the entire experience is an enjoyable evening. planning on eating here again.
