The Alder Spring Campground offers rustic camping and features historic, tiered water troughs, made from dug out logs. Accommodations include three camp sites without tables, an outhouse, and fires rings.

Activities include wildlife viewing, hunting, photography and relaxing. Check at the District Office for fire restrictions.

Directions: From Silver Lake: Travel west on Highway 31, and turn left on County Road 4-11, which turns into Forest Road 27. Stay on the 27 road for 13 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 021 and go for about 1 " miles.

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: June-November (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)Normally Open: MAY-November
