Fifteen miles from Salem along Hwy. 213, Silverton is Oregon’s “Garden City.” Stroll through The Oregon Garden, still growing at 80-plus acres. Then head to Silver Falls State Park, which has several miles of trails where you can see up to 10 waterfalls on foot, horseback or bicycle.
