Show more info about Parkdale

The name Parkdale describes this small community beautifully. As the terminus for the Mt. Hood Railroad (carrying produce to market since 1906), Parkdale is situated among the fruit orchards of the Columbia River Gorge against the backdrop of majestic Mt. Hood. It’s also home to the romantic Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast, whose grounds are designated a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, as well as a brewery with an unforgettable view.

Mt. Hood / The Gorge

Parkdale is located in Mt. Hood / The Gorge, home to the towering cliffs and waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge and the snowy peak of Mt. Hood.

This area includes the nearby subregion: Mt. Hood.

Nearby cities are: Odell, Hood River, Government Camp, and Mosier.
