The name “Parkdale” describes itself beautifully. Claims to fame include its role as the terminus for the Mt. Hood Railroad (carrying produce to market since 1906) and the romantic Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast, whose grounds are designated Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
