Great Getaway: FivePine Lodge in Sisters

June 13, 2014
Just a quarter mile from the edge of Sisters, the FivePine Lodge campus is a one-stop shop for Central Oregon fun.

There’s a new road going through Sisters.

That might not sound like a big deal, but it’s THE road going through Sisters and the massive (nearly completed) project underscores the transformation happening in the once sleepy little Central Oregon town.

For decades Sisters was known only for its rodeo, outdoor quilt show and Cowboy charm. But these days, there’s a decidedly more “upscale” feel to Sisters thanks to the FivePine Lodge campus.

Just a quarter mile from the edge of town, the campus is a one-stop shop for Central Oregon fun. The lodge’s luxurious guest rooms and cabins are rustic but refined and just steps away from a spa, movie theater, and brewery.

Access to the Peterson Ridge mountain bike and hiking trail system is right outside your cabin door, essentially making “adventure” a built in amenity like free Wi-Fi.

Off campus you’ll find fine French-inspired cuisine using Pacific Northwest ingredients at Jen’s Garden just a block off the main street – home to local bars and grills, quilt shops and stores with Western flare.

Because even as that new road opens and Sisters starts to change – you’ll still need a place to pick up some boots for the rodeo.
