This trailhead provides access to the West Zigzag Trail located just before the trailhead, and the south end of the Burnt Lake Trail at the end of the trailhead providing access to the south west corner of the Mount Hood Wilderness. The West Zigzag Mountain Trail provides a short access to the ridge of Zigzag Mountain.
