Amazing Venue for a Weedding!
I had the honor of photographing a wedding at Juniper Preserve, and wow! I honestly can’t say enough about these incredible grounds, the friendly and attentive staff, and the stellar rooms. Plus, they have one of the most unique wedding venues on the entire West Coast: a cave!!! The lodging was immaculate, well-appointed, and spacious. Although I didn’t personally golf, the groom I worked with and his groomsmen played and said it was fantastic. We spent the morning in the on-site lodging and then were transferred to the Cave via luxury leather-upholstered golf carts complete with Apple CarPlay! The staff created a fantastic atmosphere and were attentive to every need, assisting with setup and ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. One of the managers even took the bride and groom’s dog for a little walk mid-reception! If you are looking for a unique luxury location for your wedding, this is it!! I highly recommend weddings at Juniper Preserve

Disappointed
We were staying at the resort as we were attending a wedding . Many of us came from out of state either by car or flying into Bend . Our arrival times varied but most of the out of state attendees arrived between 11 am and 2 pm . This resort is very remote and is a distance from the city center . Therefore we were very disappointed when we arrived at 1 pm and were told our room would not be ready until 4 pm. There is absolutely nothing to do unless you brought golf clubs ! ( we were there for a wedding ) it was shocking that a resort that size could not accommodate out of state guests . Upon finally getting into our rooms we discovered tnat this 5 star resort did not offer maid service nor would they change towels unless you were staying ,longer then 3 days . But if you requested as we did , we were able to receive a change of towels. For the price of the rooms no one should have to request a change of towels and should offer daily maid service. The resort and its grounds are beautiful and the rooms are comfortable once you get in . The wedding reception was quite nice and the food was very good . The service was exceptional …but the cocktail reception prior to the dinner was held at the west side of the building that faced the sun . It was extremely hot with no shade or umbrellas . Was very uncomfortable for everyone … no fans or misters.Children were becoming very restless in the heat . Otherwise the function very nice once we were allowed into the air conditioned reception hall . I don’t think I would stay here again , to remote , late check in for out of state guests .
