Vast selection of MTB trails
Easy to ride here from Downtown Bend - tons of trails for all abilities! We rode up Bens and linked together with lots of great ones, including the fun Lower Whoops!

From Novice to Expert This Trail System Has It All
A mountain bike trail system built by mountain bikers. Some of the best Bend's rides are located within this trail system. Typically "butter" smooth trails with lots of added features to keep one self entertained. From green to black rides are offered here and fun for the whole family. Climbing is straight forward and fairly easy with some interesting challenges and the downhills are just superb with flowing curves, table tops and jumps galore.

What an amazing trail system!
We loved our time riding on the trails around Phil’s Trailhead! All sorts of trails start/end here for all types of riders who want any distance. Strongly recommend Whoops for fun, loopy, swooshy riding. Be careful of COD - parts of it are VERY rocky and challenging. Ben’s, Phil’s, Kent’s - all wonderful. Intersections are well-marked; easy to follow whatever path(s) you want to take.

A great trail system with hours of smooth rides for anyone
These trials, just west of Bend, OR are good for the whole family and still have some tough spots to make an expert feel entertained. I find them plenty safe, well marked, and one can create infinite combinations for hours of fun. Anything from a hardtail to an enduro bike can be used here. Plus, there's a rhythm park and jump runs for beginners or experts. The downside is the traffic can be a bit much during high use times, but early or later in the morning or evening, I have been content with my experience. Plus, there is no shortage of bike shops in the area to help you fix your bike or use a demo bike.

Your gateway to mountain biking!
Lots of options around the beginning. Good for all people at all levels: green, blue, black. We went back down Lower Whoops and that was super fun. Make sure you pack enough water especially if it’s hot. Get a map at the local bike shop.
