Impressive
Great art museum with work of area artists on display. The Native American artifacts section was awesome. I learned so much about how area cultures lived off the land. Staff were extremely gracious and informative. Great location between the Link River/Nature Trail/downtown Klamath Falls. Our visit was cut short and we plan to visit again when we return to Klamath Falls.

Needs a coherent narrative and documentation
The strength of the Favell Museum is the number of artifacts. The weakness is the gross lack of provenance or context for understanding the artifacts: Documentation is mostly absent, and the collections lack coherence.

Well worth the visit for Native American artifacts
It fairly large museum on native American artifacts. It also has many paintings that are for sale. We thought it was well worth visiting.

So Much to See!
Many, many artifacts to see and read about. It was very interesting to read about the various tribes found in the west and the differences in their skills and artistry. Plan on at least 90 mins and it’s worth your time if you’re interested in PNW native history and artifacts.
