This is one of the oldest dive bars in OC, my family has been going there since it opened. I had the displeasure of being there when the owner was there, and now my family can officially say Macs is gone. Be careful who you’re rude to Barb, it may be a multi-generational local that you bite.

I walked by this place and did a double take and walked back and straight inside. It was a sports bar with a few people at the bar and The TrailBlazers on the TV screen battling Golden State. I ordered a Coors lite for $3.50 and notice the lone line of pool tables toward the back. I walked toward the pools tables. off to the side were two video poker machines. Byond the four pool tables there where stair leading up to another level. I went up those. There were a few tables and a couple more video poker machine. And a view looking down at the Pool Tables. A lady was teaching a gent how to improve his shots. Very detailed instructions. I wouldn't want to take her on in a game. So I retreated to a video poker machine. I was along in that upper section and found it nice and peaceful. And I found that I quite enjoyed this place. It is well worth spending some time and chilling out with a few drinks. Nice atmosphere Another gem in Oregon City for those who enjoy a nice friendly pub.

Relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices
They have a wonderful happy hour during the week and their burgers are pretty decent. The service is consistently good, with generous portions at reasonable prices. They offer a number of slot games and pool tables for those who are interested. This a reliable option in the heart of OC.
