Come hear the Pioneer Brass Sextet in a rousing July 4th celebration of American music including popular favorites, historical pieces from the time of the Declaration of Independence, music from old Oregon and more, played on trumpets, trombones, euphonium and tuba! The musicians are Gayle and Phil Neuman, David Bryan, Andrew Harris, Jeff Snyder, and Luke Harju.
The venue is the Pioneer Church built in 1895 and relocated in 1967 onto the original site of a 19th-century donation land claim granted to Western pioneers Horace Baker and his wife Jane Hattan Baker. The picturesque 4-acre woodland setting near Carver also features the Baker’s original log cabin dating back to 1856. Enjoy a picnic on the grounds and a free tour of Baker Cabin.
