Singer Cruz Beckham is known for his hooky, guitar-based brand of ’90s-style Brit-pop and rock. Along with his band the Breakers, he debuted in 2026 with the singles “Optics” and “For Your Love.”
Cruz David Beckham was born in 2005 to English soccer-star David Beckham and English singer/fashion designer Victoria Beckham. Although born in Madrid, Spain where his father was playing for the team Real Madrid, Beckham grew up in Los Angeles before moving with his family back to England around the age of six. Interested in music from a young age, he made his debut on the 2016 charity single “If Every Day Was Christmas.” However, he eventually began writing his own songs, drawing upon his love of bands like Oasis, the Stone Roses, Kula Shaker, and other icons of Brit-pop. In 2025, he introduced his band Cruz Beckham and the Breakers with the double A-side single “Optics” and “Lick the Toad.” A second single, “For Your Love,” appeared in February 2026 ahead of the group’s first headline U.K. and Europe tour.
