Join the Condon Arts Council for a night of food, drink, dessert, and entertainment! Opening performance from the legendary Hal Cannon, followed by the beloved Buffalo Kin.
As a musician and composer, Hal has toured extensively in the United States and abroad. Notable performances with 3hattrio include Celtic Connections in Glasgow; the Tønder Festival in Denmark; the Gothenburg Culture Festival in Sweden; and the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Nevada. For thirty years, Hal and his band, the Deseret String Band/Bunkhouse Orchestra, specialized in researching and performing nineteenth-century music from the American West.
Buffalo Kin is a folk-duo made up of Katelyn Eisenhooth & Seth Brewster whose debut album “Vaquero” stylistically inhabits the Old West while channeling the sentiments and stories of cowfolk from the bygone era. For them, music is a reminder and a refuge demonstrating how interconnected we all are.
