Excellent service by Jim with great wines
Had a great tasting with our host Jim, who we highly recommend, before going out to dinner. Enjoyed Pinots and a Sauvignon Blanc. They are currently renovating the main tasting room but the service and conversation fully make up for the change of scenery in the temporary indoor tasting area!

Loved the Twomey wines and grapes!
We stopped at Twomey during a day last week touring in Napa Valley. We were so happy that we stopped! The place is beautiful! We arrived too close to closing to do an official tasting (it takes an hour) but we each bought a glass of wine, which we all really enjoyed! The staff was so friendly and spent time answering our questions about the wines and their vineyards. Even though we didn’t do an official wine tasting, they gave us breadsticks and complimentary gift bags with wine glasses. Before we left they invited us to go out to the vineyard to taste the grapes. We really enjoyed our time spent at Twomey and hope we can find Twomey wines near our home on the East Coast.

A beautiful place to share some great wine!!
We had a fabulous tasting hosted by Gina in this beautiful location just outside Calistoga. Incredible Pinot Noir.....Cab's from Silver Oak. It was a little chilly but the grounds are amazing, and we hope to return and enjoy the views outside. This is a must stop on your trip.

Not impressed
Stopped for a wine tasting at Twomey, the lady at the front counter was only concerned about paying up front, pricing and selling the tasting. We entered a room with a girl who had tattoos on her fingers, flaunting her 5 years of working there but really had no knowledge, was describing the wines to us off the list-we could have done that ourselves and read it!! Asked her questions like, what is the difference between corks and screw tops? Oh it’s up to the discretion of the wine maker…ahhh there is a difference. What’s the difference between a $5 dollar bottle and $500? A nothing-nothing really? The palate one was the best answer to us. Do you taste the chocolate and berries? A no, because it’s what you want it to taste like?? Huh?? Ok, it tastes like garlic!! $35.00 and the pours wouldn’t even make a full glass!!

Disappointing
Precious guest experiences were gracious, welcoming and friendly. Would always buy at least a case of wine before leaving. Visited October 2022 and could not have been more disappointed. Hostess stated she was a "manager" but I have a difficult time believing this individual was such, as she was abrupt to the point of being rude, and had zero guest relations skill. Was focused on paying up front much more so than telling us about their wines and other pertinent facts. I'm a Certified Sommelier and previously enjoyed Twomey Pints, but this experience really turned me off of their wines and will not return to this location. Purchased a glass of wine and then left empty handed.
