Tendril Wine Cellars is a personal wine project created and owned by renowned winemaker, Tony Rynders. Named for the detective grape tendril, this title was chosen to honor the grapevine itself. Tony believes the vineyards and grapes themselves are the foundation of great wine. He has created a unique array of wines which highlight the diversity of flavors and textures that be achieved in Willamette Valley.

We went here with some friends for a wine tasting and the wines very good and the owner and his Som could not have been may nicer an spent a lot of time with us answering questions and telling us about the business and winemaking. It was very enjoyable and laid back and they have some excellent wines!

Wine is an adventure
This small ( only 5 employees including the owner) unassuming winery was wonderful. We have had many, many tastings in Napa, Paso Robles and now Carlton, Oregon, and never had a level 2 sommelier with so much knowledge and such a great personality. This really was a treat! Ask for Pao for your tasting. He was so good and enjoyed all knowledge we felt he shared with us.

Don't miss this wonderful Tasting Room in Carlton!
This was our favorite tasting during our visit to Willamette Valley. The wine was delecious and the tasting plentiful. We tried a variety of unusual wines for the region and they were fantastic.The wines were priced from approx. $30 - $70. We purchased several varieties and will be a return customer for sure . We sat outside because it was a perfect day in May , but we did get a peek inside and the tasting room is lovely. This is a small Tasting Room so I would definitely call ahead and book your tasting. Our host , Andrew, was fun and very knowledge. He truly made our visit extra special. I would most definitely request Andrew for your visit.

Great wines
Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.

Great Wine Tasting Experience
We had an excellent visit to this small winery worh fantabulous wines. Tastings were outside under an apple tree and a pear tree. Very knowledgeable staff. We went to 4 wineries and bought the most wine here - great wine, great people, great experiekce.
