One of Oregon’s wine pioneers with vineyards planted in 1978 and our first legal vintage in 1983. Our goal is to make distinctive, food-friendly wines without breaking the bank; as well as a line of reserve wines to enjoy on special occasions (like Tuesdays). We grow over 90% of our own production from our five sustainable vineyards-without the use of irrigation, harsh chemicals or pesticides. “Serious Wines for the Not So Serious”

Wonderful winery with beautiful setting
The setting was so serene with a pond, terraced landscaping and beautiful trees and vineyard in the distance. I loved this winery not only because of the beautiful setting but the wines were good and a decent price. The grounds allowed visitors to spread out and take their tasting flight so they could enjoy at their leisure. We chose to do this rather than stay in the tasting room, which is very comfortable but we opted for fresh air and a view overlooking the pond. Nothing pretentious about this wonderful winery! We will return and purchase a glass of wine or bottle and just relax!

Beautiful setting and lovely people
This winery was the perfect place for us to finally slow down after a week of hiking in the PNW. A gentleman on the Silver Falls trail suggested it, and he led us to a wonderful spot. The setting is beautiful, and the wines are excellent and reasonably priced, but it was the people there that made it so special. They took such good care of us, with wine tender Abby even making us a custom charcuterie board since we are vegetarians. The owner was kind enough to write out a list of things we should see and where we should eat on our trip to Portland the next day, and we followed her recommendations. There are a lot of wineries in this area, but this is a gem and you should put it on your "must visit" list!

Fabulous Experience
We always look forward to visiting St. Josef's Winery. Everybody is so welcoming, the wines are wonderful..... one of my favorites is the Lilli, a sparkling wine, named after one of the owners. I am sure we'll be visiting again soon.

Awesome Wines Awesome staff
Tara and Carl are the best and Carl makes awesome wine. Their Gamme is incredible and the 2014 Cab is one of the best in the Willamette Valley.

Great wine with a stunning view!
This family winery produces EXCELLENT wines at a moderate price (my favorite is the Gamay). They have regularly scheduled events that include music and a catered feast. It's a great deal and you couldn't find friendlier folks. Drive through some beautiful, hilly farm country-only minutes away from Portland-and have the perfect afternoon adventure.
