Soléna is a combination of Spanish and French words Solana and Soleil, celebrating the sun, the moon and cycles of life. We were launched in May of 2000 when our owners purchased our 80-acre estate which became the Domaine Danielle Laurent vineyard.Furthering their successful careers in the Oregon wine industry, Laurent Montalieu and Danielle Andrus Montalieu gifted this vineyard to each other for their wedding, and began making wine under the label named Soléna after their daughter.Soléna Estate showcases the beauty of terroir in our site-specific wines. We craft delicious wine from our own estate vineyards in Yamhill-Carlton and McMinnville AVAs, as well as iconic single-vineyards around the Northwest. We’re well known for consistent, ageable Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Cabernet Sauvignon. However, our entrepreneurial spirit means we keep expanding our offerings. We have been huge fans of Solena for decades. The wine is to die for, the indoor space and outdoor seating are lovely, and the people are super friendly. All of the wine is incredible, but the winemaker’s pinot noirs are especially notable. We have been invited to some very special tastings, including a barrel tasting, which we enjoyed very much. A must visit if you are in the Willamette Valley!

While every wine was incredible, the ladies in our group fell in love with the Willamette Valley Rosé, taking extra bottles home to enjoy. Great time at SOLENA winery
We happened to be in the area & stopped by without a reservation. It turned out to be a very enjoyable afternoon sitting outside on the patio overlooking the vineyard/mountain views while tasting great wines. Alicia was great & knowledgeable regarding the history of the winery & all the wines served. We bought 3 bottles😁

We have been members for about 10 years. Solena’s wines are lovely. The tasting room is gorgeous, cozy with the fire and stunning view. The events are always fantastic. They even have a charging station for electric cars
