Wine Maker Poured our Wine
Visited The Bramble with two other couples for husband's birthday. It was our last winery stop for the afternoon and we met Alex the wine maker who also did the pouring. He was very informative and willing to answer all our questions. Shared a "special" sparkling wine with our group. Ended up purchasing several bottles of their wines. Great host, Alex.

This tasting room looks awful commercial from the street but we are glad we did !
This was our last tasting stop of the day and was suggested by another winery. Our greeter and one of the owners of Silas Wines was Alex. Alex had been an entertainer from the east coast and along with several friends with different backgrounds started Silas Wines. (a short write up of the group is posted at the tastings bar). We enjoyed the tastings and our time with Alex. We purchased some of the 2013 Pino and the 2014 Gamay Malbec ( as I am generally not a Malbec fan I didn't think that I would like this one but I was wrong). A pleasent experience and well worth the stop.

Great Wine, Good Vibes, and Great Service
The Bramble is an awesome place to get a personal and thorough tasting of Willamette Valley wines. This is the tasting room for Silas wines. Silas makes quintessential, high quality Oregon Pinot Noir (of course), but also features other varieties - some unique, some traditional - but literally all were delicious! It is a very cool place too, with good ambiance and decor. It's quite unassuming, being in a quiet town and not flashy, but is well worth a specific trip or at least a stop when driving through!
