In its nearly ten years of commercial operation Pudding River has been recognized by the Wine Spectator for its Barrel Fermented Chardonnay and its Reserve Pinot Noir, the Wine Enthusiast and Oregon State Fair for its Pinot Gris, and numerous other Northwest Wine Competitions including the Oregon Wine Awards, Savor NW, Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival, and the Portland Indie Wine Festival. Winemaker and Owner Sean Driggers consistently makes world class quality wines and is currently making custom wine for five other vineyards and wineries as well. Having spent many years in the eastern as well as the western sides of Oregon, we recognize that Oregon is unique in its capability to produce high quality grapes that rival nearly all of the great wine growing regions of France. We specialize in producing small-lot wines that reflect the best of these growing regions – Malbec for Bordeaux, Syrah and Viognier for the Rhone, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for Burgundy, and Pinot Gris and Riesling for Alsace.
