    A Ponzi scheme!

Avoid this place at all cost. Although perhaps not completely applicable one can liken one's visit to a, yes, Ponzi scheme. The value for one's money is atrocious. Even if one buys the wines the tastings are not complimentary. The staff is less than interested and frankly, doesn't know anything about the wines being served. Save your money, buy a plane ticket to Europe and sample and savor the wines of France, Germany, and Italy. Tastings are almost invariably complimentary, of course, one is expected to buy something. The place itself is architecturally attractive as is the setting, but skip the tasting as the wines aren't that good anyway.

    Terrible service

Very disappointing experience. We had a reservation; our driver ran into problems with his van, and called to explain we would be late by ~25 min. We showed up, and the vineyard was entirely inflexible with the tasting time, despite having tons of space inside and outside. They invited us to have a glass of wine instead. Okay, we thought. We sat down and saw that other parties were having a tasting. These parties finished their tastings after we were done with our glass and left the winery--meaning there was no reason whatsoever our tasting couldn't have been honored. Frustrating. But, perhaps it's good we didn't have a tasting. The service for our glass of wine was atrocious. The person who helped us had *zero* idea what wines she could serve by the glass and very little knowledge about the wines themselves. She then completely disappeared (not even stopping by to ask if we liked them), which required us to chase someone else down in order to pay. And this was for wines by the glass that were $25+ dollars each. Yes, $25+ each. If you're going to have by-the-glass prices of a fine dining restaurant, then have servers who know something about the wine and pay attention to your customers. Yes, it's a pretty spot--but the reality is that there are lots of pretty spots around the Willamette. Many of those have better wines than Ponzi, and certainly better service. Do yourself a favor and try them instead.

Friendly staff, great environment, and over all, fantastic wines! The range offers iconic ranges (just taste the Single vineyard wine, both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir)!

Fantastic experience! Did the lunch pairing and the food was great and paired very well with the wine. The experience felt personal and private and although we weren’t members we never felt less than. The som seemed knowledgeable and stayed professional throughout. Any additional wines that weren’t included in our tasting that we wanted to try, she made happen. If visiting the area if definitely give Ponzi a go.
