We happened to drop in on a Sunday morning when the winery owner, Rich Washburn, was tending bar. He was delightful, talking passionately about his creations while pointing us to his best vintages. I like that you can choose any five wines for the tasting vs. a fixed list chosen by the winery. The ambience is casual; you can walk right-in to any open table. We took home several bottles.

Great Wine; Great Time!
My wife, I and another couple stopped into Pinot Vista on a whim to relax over a glass or two of wine. This place is very relaxed and inviting. The young lady running the place, Charity, was a real delight and knows her wines. FYI, Pinot Vista also has a true winery whose tasting room was being renovated at the time we were there. The McMinnville site is their in-town tasting room. We had such a great time that we returned two more times. On our last two visits (Wed and Fri) they had local acoustic bands playing. Nothing fancy, just local guys having fun. The place is probably 1/2 locals and 1/2 visitors. The locals are super friendly and we wound up making several new friends. McMinnville is loaded with tasting rooms of all types, from high-end, eclectic rooms to ‘come on in’ jeans and tee shirts rooms. Pinot Vista is more the latter, which was just fine for us (who are in our late 60s/early 70s).

Gem of McMinnville!
Fantastic place with incredible wines and wonderful people! Rich, Lisa and Charity are so hospitable, and welcoming you will feel right at home and won't want to leave. Wonderful wines and atmosphere! There's a reason why the local love it! A must visit in McMinnville!

Wine, warmth, and great music
We wandered into this lounge aimlessly and were greeted by a young lady, Charity, who implored us to come back for live music that evening. We are so thankful that we did. We had a wonderful wine tasting experience and enjoyed great music and a fun and festive atmosphere. Truly, we had a blast. Everyone was welcoming and warm and the wines were amazing. Charity is a huge part of making guests feel at home and just a treasure. We went back another night because of her! The music and musicians were also so nice. This is so worth visiting when in McMinnville!
