Beautiful property, kind and helpful people, biodynamic wines, fantastic and unstuffy service. This is a heavenly place to spend a relaxing afternoon during beautiful weather. The tasting experience is so lovely and the family atmosphere from the owners and staff is hospitable and welcoming. I will absolutely return here with friends. Get reservations and enjoy!

A terrific find in Oregon wine country
What a find! We visited Maysara Winery largely through happenstance: We were nearby while traveling from the coast to Portland. It had a 4.7 rating from TripAdvisor users. And unlike some Willamette Valley wineries, it was open on a Tuesday. The family has a fascinating backstory. It has lovely shaded tables and chairs for tasting outside as well as an indoor tasting room. Best of all, their wines — red and white — are terrific. They offer two tasting flights. My wife got one and I got the other, and we shared. The wines are mostly Pinot-based. The winery practices a type of organic (called biodynamic) viticulture (they’ll tell you all about it). Wild turkeys roam the hundreds of acres of vineyards, eating pesky bugs. We all especially loved the Pinot blanc, and our friend and I agreed to buy a case and have it shipped back home. The Pinot blanc was just $22 a bottle, and with our order we got our tasting fee waived plus 10% discount for ordering a case, which helped cover the cost of shipping. Interestingly, they monitor weather conditions and offer to not ship when temps are so high as to damage the wine when a customer uses ground shipping. I’d rate this a 10/10 experience.

Great wind in intimate setting
Low key out of the way winery. Beautiful setting where you drive down as dirt road to reach this Persian family owned winery with a heroic story behind the founding. Our guide Brandton was knowledgeable and humorous story teller who provided many interesting stories about the founders and of course the wine. Excellent wine and tasting that compared to the $50 / $60 tastings was not only a bargain for the wines were just as good and more reasonably priced. We sat indoors in their cellar and got a feel for a genuine working vineyard. This not a hill top extravaganza. However, you need to add this to your visiting list to truly experience Willamette valley.

Beautiful property and great wine
An excellent visit. The property and outdoor seating is stunning and the wines were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the sparkling rose. The story of the family is amazing and inspiring.
