Lingua Franca

Lingua Franca is dedicated to making wines that express the exceptional terroir of Lingua Franca Estate and the eastern slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills. After decades of tasting wine from the region, sommelier Larry Stone sought out a site to plant a vineyard that was capable of the structure and complexity found in the finest terroir-driven wines in Europe. In order to express the unique flavors of Lingua Franca Estate most precisely, Larry sought out Burgundy-trained Thomas Savre, who leads the winemaking team, and who is guided by iconic Burgundy winemaker Dominique Lafon. The home vineyard is located on the winery site and it’s open for tours, pending developments with Covid-related restrictions.
