In the spring of 2000, after an extensive search for a prime site to grow Pinot noir, Steve and Karen Lutz discovered a steep, south-facing slope near the town of Yamhill. In 2001, they planted several Pinot noir clones, including Pommard, 777,115, and 114. The elevation, steep slope, shallow mountain soil, and small yields, moved them on their way to creating profound wine. The tasting room at Lenné is in the middle of the vineyard with stunning views.

I have never felt so much like family as when we arrived to Lenne. Matt and his team instantly made us feel like we were at home from the second we parked. Words will never be fair to explain how gorgeous this winery is. The views are beyond breath taking, with just as equally amazing wine to match. We fell in love with this winery and views so much, we had our wedding photos taken here. Matt and his team accommodated all our wedding chaos with such patience, love, and kindness. We got wine and DELICIOUS pizza for our group and everyone absolutely raved about how fantastic it all was. We will never go anywhere else for our wine needs, and will be sure to tell everyone we know that Lenne is a MUST when they visit Oregon.

Wonderful Hospitality
After experiencing a very poor welcoming down the road it was refreshing to be welcomed in like family. This is a must visit while out looking for Pinot Noir in the wine country around Yamhill. Be sure to ask about when they are going to fire up their pizza oven...it's a great time to visit.

Good wine
We stopped here for a wine tasting and it was good. The staff was nice and the wine was also good. It was warm the day we were there so it was not as pleasant to sit on the porch, but the view was great.

Vineyard tour and fine wine!
We absolutely loved our visit to Lennè Estate. We did both at regular tasting and a vineyard tour. The regular tasting was on the beautiful porch with a gorgeous view. The wines are excellent and the owner, Steve, walked us through the wines. We loved the vibe of a smaller winery. We took a vineyard tour a couple days later. What an experience! We hiked through the vineyards stopping to learn about each section and taste the wines from that section. It was incredibly interesting and informative. At the end of the hike we were given a food and wine pairing. The price was $60 per person, and completely worth it! We joined their wine club which eliminated one of the tours, but we would have joined regardless. We visited 9 wineries on a long weekend and this was our favorite!

Yummy Pinot Noir.
Very gracious people. We loved the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This is the winery that all of us agreed on of liking the Pinot Noir. Explained the various wines we were tasting. Would love to visit them again and recommend that this is must winery too stop and taste. Nice view from the tasting room patio.
