Driving up the long, winding road to the Tasting Room, you’ll see the product of our unremitting efforts: lovingly cultivated gardens, fields of wildflowers, and meticulously tended vines. Working to fulfill our commitments to the strengths and benefits of biodiversity, we strive to be the best possible stewards of the land. Left Coast Estate situated on the 45th parallel consists of 500 acres, 137 of which are devoted to the cultivation of grapes. Planting on varying soils, elevations and slopes contributes to the complexities and subtleties of our wines. The remainder of the property is preserved as one of the last stands of old growth white oak trees in the area and also contains fruit orchards and streams. The bodies of water attract migrating birds and encourage birds of prey, helping to balance animal life in the vineyards. Founded in 2003, Left Coast Estate carefully crafts exclusively estate-grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Meunier and Syrah. Our Tasting Room & Farm Market Café is open daily, from 12 pm-5 pm with food service until 4:30pm.

Beautiful vineyards and great wine!
Best winery and vineyard visit during our visit to Oregon. Not only do they have excellent wines, but they offer amazing pizza in their tasting room as well. Great Chardonnay and Pinots, but also some other varietals that you won’t find at most vineyards in the area.
Very enjoyable! Beautiful estate, friendly staff and good wines. A very relaxing tasting experience and we were offered to taste their newly released, off the menu, white Pinot. Still able to make a last minute reset pain center we are traveling. Would come again!
A gem in the middle of the Willamette Valley
Having visited two vineyards earlier in the day, I wasn't sure if I was up for a third round of tastings, but decided to give it a go and am I ever happy that I did. The setting was magical with its panoply of colorful umbrellas, flowers, fields and wrought iron tables. I felt as though I was sitting out on a friend's patio. Perfection! The wines were nice, but it was the ambiance that stood out. The assistant tasting room manager, Hannah Haskins, was delightful. She was the only person working on what became an extremely busy afternoon, but she handled herself with finesse and ease making sure to say hello to every new customer. I had a cheese plate, which she kindly offered to make "for one" since I was on a solo vacation. I thought that gesture was especially kind and astute. I'm sooooooo happy I decided to make the turn and visit Left Coast Estate. It was a wonderful way to end my 6-day tour of the Willamette Valley. (Sorry no pictures for now, as I'm having issues uploading them to TripAdvisor.)
Beautiful property with amazing wine
We spent a night in McMinnville on our way to Eugene for Christmas & everyone we asked about wineries told us to take the ride out to Left Coast which already had a recommendation from a friend who knew the owner . It was such a fun experience on a cold rainy day .I am embarrassed to say I have forgotten the name of the woman who spent so much time with us during our wine tasting , She introduced me to the first Rose I have ever really liked along with a white Pinot Noir & my personal favorite Queen Bee Bubbly which made our Christmas morning brunch very memorable ! We purchased 6 bottles & even joined the wine club without even bothering to ask how much the shipping would be to North Carolina where we live ( that’s how much we loved the wines ) Thank you for a special experience & we look forward to your wine deliveries 😀
We weren’t planning on stopping here but SO glad we did. We were a little early, about 10 minutes, before they opened. The chef greeted us and told us the tasting manager would be up shortly but he could start our wine flight. He was very pleasant. Sue, the tasting manager, arrived after our first tasting and took over. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She even educated us about the differences in wine glasses. We also learned more about the Pinot Noir grape. She also recommended another winery to visit that was fantastic. All Their wine was fantastic. Some lighter and some bolder. I’m a Pinot Noir fan and their white Pinot Noir was fantastic. I can’t wait to return and tour the vineyard. It was beautiful!
